Welcome, Its Nice to Finally Meet You...
Yup, you somehow arrived at yet another website. This one just so happens to be mine. To you it may not be special, to me it is part of who I am. I like you, so I am sure you will like it too. ;-)
Anyway, a little about me - Basically, I am a tech-geek - and YES, I am OK with that. Aside from that, I am married and have two dogs and two cats. I drive a Jeep, and buy lots of cool little gadgets. I am fascinated by the internet... is it fascinated or -- um -- addicted... Well, on to the story. I have had this website for I'd say... easily 7 or 8 years. Well, the problem is that I never really liked what I had up on this site. So, I recently made a pact with myself that I would finally finish my website - and to my liking.
So, what is Digital-Equinox? Well, the idea was originally to start an internet based company. But things fell apart quickly between my partner and I and we dissolved the idea. Anyway, I kept the domain name since I liked it so much. To me It was sort of a play on words. The site was created right around when the internet started to really take off. I thought of that time as a turning point. Broadband was just starting to make it into the homes of regular people. The Tech industry was starting to really kick in, things were changing. Hence the word Digital.
For some reason I thought of that change similarly to the vernal equinox (the intersection of the celestial and ecliptic equators). Hence the word Equinox.
Huh?! No worries, Ill stop here before I confuse both of us. Anyway, basically I felt these changes were both very impressive and that's that. ;-)
So here we are... you are sitting in front of a monitor, hopefully smiling ever so slightly. I am probably very far away work on some internet project, or reading the latest stories on Digg.
